Individuals
Via one-to-one education and coaching, I empower individuals to develop the practical and emotional skills they need to thrive in the face of life’s demands.
I specialise in supporting the brain’s executive functioning processes in people newly diagnosed with ADHD or autism, and those coping with life's flash points - having children, menopause, caring for elderly parents, and other life events that can lead to overwhelm and burnout.
Organisations
A neurodiverse workforce is a stronger, more efficient workforce... but only with appropriate structures in place. In my role as a neurodiversity consultant, I support organisations to utilise their employees’ unique skills effectively, reduce stress-related illness, attract the best candidates, enable effective communication between neurodivergent and neurotypical staff, optimise staff development and training, and address the causes of talent drain.

Where do coaching sessions for individuals take place?I hold face-to-face sessions at my Henley Office in the Regus building on Newtown Road. If you prefer a more informal environment, I am very happy to meet with you over a cup of something in one of Henley’s many cafes! Group coaching sessions and workshops take place in venues in or around Henley.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?Not at all! I work with anyone who feels they would benefit from support with organisation, planning, attention, task/demand avoidance and impulse control. These are all areas that relate to the brain’s executive functioning.

How many sessions will I need? The number of sessions needed is a very individual thing. Some people find that a handful of sessions is enough to set them on track; others find that they need long-term support, especially if their needs are complex. In my experience, 10 full sessions is enough to get you started and begin to see significant change. Getting the support you need can be life changing, but also a significant financial investment. You may decide to attend one of my group sessions, once you have had some one-to-one sessions to get you started. While group sessions are not as tailored to the individual as one-to-one sessions, many clients benefit immensely from sharing a safe space with people experiencing similar issues.

When might coaching with you NOT be appropriate?I adhere to a coaching code of practice and will only work on issues within my professional competence. The coaching process encompasses aspects of the therapeutic approach, and many neurodivergent clients find it an invaluable coping tool. However, it cannot replace appropriate clinical or therapeutic support for certain co-occurring conditions: major depression, PTSD, severe anxiety disorders, eating disorders, self-harm and substance abuse, for example. For clients experiencing these issues, coaching sessions with me may still be appropriate in conjunction with specialised treatment by a professional qualified in the relevant area. This would depend on the individual situation.
